Bespoke Framing Service

Picture
In addition to framing my own work, I also offer a bespoke framing service. Whether you have a family photography, painting, or something more unusual, I can almost certainly frame it.

There's more to framing than most people think and the illustration (left) shows the components of a typical framing job. All the materials I use are conservation grade ensuring that your valued artwork will not be damaged over time by any material it comes in contact with.

I use glass rather than acrylic. Whilst it is generally more expensive, I believe it provides a better quality finish, does not attract dust or scratch to the same extent as acrylic and is therefore easier to clean.

Commercial Framing
If you are an artist based in Caithness or Sutherland, I would be happy to provide details on the commercial service I offer including quantity discounts. Let me mount and frame your work for you and;
  • Remove the need to order and store sheet materials saving you time and space
  • Leave you more time to do what you like doing best - producing fantastic art!
  • Guarantee a consistently high standard of finish with your own choice of mountboard and mouldings

I can also provide deep bevel mounts, slips, box frames and shadow frames to make your artwork look really special.

If you have any special requirements or wish to discuss any aspect of my work, please do not hesitate to contact me. References available on request.
